So, let’s get started and find the perfect gift for your travel lovers!
One of the most useful things we have on our travel. We use the Anker mini portable charger, and I’ve lost count of how many times it saved our battery lives! It can charge a mobile phone up to three times (fully charged). It is safe for flights and is also convenient and small, fitting into any pocket or travel bag. The USB is detachable, so it can charge pretty much anything. (£13 – £20)
Antique Desk Globe
Forget the traditional globe you had to use back in school! I am talking about an antique style globe! Perfect for the office, living room or bedroom with its rustic design, it fits everywhere, and your fellow wanderer will simply fall in love with it! (£30)
I don’t have one by myself, keep saying I need one (hint hint, haha!). Practical and fully customisable, from plain colours to unique designs! Cheap and useful to keep all the important documents in one place! (Starting around £10 but depends if it is personalised).
International Travel Plug Adapter
Another useful thing for those travel addicts who travel around the World from Europe to Asia to America and back. Every country has got different electricity standards, which means the plug adaptors change and what works in the United Kingdom may not work in Slovakia. Having the adapters in one compact device is such a clever idea. It saves time looking for different adapters each time! (£17)
Portable Luggage Scale
We love our portable luggage scale. We take it every time we fly, especially with hold luggage. If we had to pay £1 every time for weighing it at the airport or having to sort out our overweight bags, it would add up to a return flight somewhere in Europe! It is cheap, small, saves you the hassle and doesn’t weigh anything, but it does weight baggage for you!
Amazon Kindle Readers
A more expensive gift, again, it can be handy. It is smaller, lighter and thinner than any book and it actually fits a few books in! We travel addicts love to read travel books and magazines, especially on those long-haul flights and road trips. They can cost anything from £30 right up into the hundreds.
Travel Magazine Subscription
Every travel lover will love this surprise! I love getting my travel magazines via the post. I’m signed up for Wanderlust and Lonely Planet, and every time I receive my magazine, it’s like a Christmas present (or birthday present.) They are filled with great travel inspiration and amazing pictures, and I do love to collect them! Plus, they are packed in a recyclable cover, not plastic!
You don’t always have to pay the full price – I know a few tips. For example, for my 6-months subscription of Lonely Planet, I only paid £5. That’s less than £1 per issue!
Check this website guys, here are some great deals for Travel Magazines (but not limited) in the UK!
Also, Wanderlust magazine has some offers, their print subscription now starts at £17.50 for 10 issues on their actual website, while on iSubscribe you can get 5 issues for £5!
Camera Gorilla Tripod
Every traveller is a photography lover, trying to capture those special memories and experiences. It doesn’t matter if he or she collects pictures via their phone or a professional camera, the gorilla tripod is a perfect accessory! It bends, folds, hangs and holds up the equipment. We have one, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything else! Especially as I travel solo sometimes. I’m not confident in asking strangers to take pictures of me, or don’t trust some not to run off. So instead I place the tripod where I need to, set the camera on a timer or connect it with my phone, and tadaaa! The one we got was £9.99 a few years ago, but I couldn’t find it on Amazon! Instead, I found a different one with plenty of good reviews! Perfect for phone, camera and GoPro with its range of attachments! (£18)
Lush Shampoo Bars and Soaps
We love Lush cosmetics! It is a bit pricey, but at the end of the day, you get what you pay for. Lush Cosmetics is cruelty-free and based on natural ingredients, and it smells lovelyyyyy! When we went to Asia for 3 weeks, we bought a few soap and shampoo bars. Especially for myself, as a female, hair care is critical, exposing my hair to salt, sun, sand and pollution. It worried me how my hair gets damaged. Luckily, with the right lush shampoo bar, my hair stayed hydrated.

External Hard Drive
Where else will your travel lover store all their images? Of course on an External Hard Drive. Especially in Asia, where internet connection is not the best and relying on Cloud is not always the best option. Getting one of those is always a good and practical idea. We both have WD (one of the best ones) for a few years and no problems with them at all.
Scratching a new destination on our return from a new country feels like scratching a scratch card, but better! This is a perfect gift for travel lovers, and I can guarantee you that they won’t be disappointed! The price, size and design vary, so it’s up to you which one you choose!
Compass Wall Clock
A clever timepiece for any passionate traveller. I love our Compass Wall Clock from The Range (£19.99). It has an antique, with an aged effect look and a rustic rope round it. A very thoughtful gift for travel lovers!
Cheap and practical. This is how I would describe our packing cubes. They are especially handy when travelling with a baggage of 20kg/44 pounds/3 stones and more. It organises all the clothes, shoes and accessories into departments, so those socks will never get missing again! They don’t weigh anything, and they are super cheap!
There are plenty of books out there, but I would personally go for the Lonely Planet. They are the best when it comes to travel-related books
